Dr. Shreya Gattani is a Consultant Medical and Hemato-Oncologist based in Mumbai, committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and accessible cancer care. She is attached to multiple leading hospitals across the city, including the Indian Cancer Treatment Centre (Santacruz), Empire Cancer Clinic Bandra, Criticare Asia Hospital, Sujay Hospital, Sanjeevani Mamata Hospital, BSES MG Hospital, Allcure Hospital, Bhaktivedanta Hospital and others.
Dr. Gattani completed her DM in Medical Oncology from the Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad. Prior to that, she pursued a Fellowship in Geriatric Oncology at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and earned her MD in Internal Medicine from JNMC, Wardha, following her MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur.
Her academic and clinical work has centered on the evolving landscape of immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and precision-based cancer treatment. She has been actively involved as a co-investigator in international clinical trials, including studies on breast cancer and lung cancer immunotherapy, and has presented her research at major oncology conferences.
Dr. Gattani’s scientific contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals like the Journal of Geriatric Oncology, Cancer Research, Statistics and Treatment, and ecancer. Her work has helped highlight the importance of individualized cancer care for elderly patients and those receiving novel therapies.
In clinical practice, Dr. Gattani treats a broad spectrum of malignancies including solid tumors (breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic cancers) and hematologic cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma). She places strong emphasis on multidisciplinary treatment planning, patient education, and supportive care aimed at improving both outcomes and quality of life.
Beyond her clinical work, she is deeply engaged in public education and awareness initiatives — regularly speaking at community forums and medical associations to promote early cancer detection, HPV vaccination, and lifestyle-based prevention strategies.
